Product Description:
- Linezolid is a synthetic oxazolidinone antimicrobial drug indicated for gram-positive infections and approved for the treatment of bacterial pneumonia, skin and skin structure infections. Linezolid can be used to treat bone and joint infections, particularly when caused by multidrug-resistant Gram-positive bacteria, as it can effectively penetrate bone tissue and is considered a viable option for infections where other antibiotics might not be effective due to resistance. Linezolid is found to be effective against multi-drug resistant bacteria.
