- Used in indications such as Persistent asthma, Chronic Bronchitis in adult patients
- Reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose, and improves symptoms of cold.
Product Description:
- Levocetirizine is the active R (–) enantiomer of cetirizine, second generation anti-histamine (H1 antagonists). It is effective at half the dose of cetirizine and appears to produce less sedation and other side effects. It is indicated in upper respiratory allergies, pollinosis, urticaria and atopic dermatitis; also used as adjuvant in seasonal asthma
- Montelukast – Leukotriene (LT)-receptor antagonist exert anti-inflammatory actions and have been approved for the treatment of asthma. Montelukast is selective high-affinity competitive antagonists for the cys-LT1 receptor. Inhibition of cys-LT-induced bronchial smooth muscle contraction likely is involved in the therapeutic effects of these agents to relieve the symptoms of asthma
