Product Description:
- Cefixime It is an orally active third generation cephalosporin. Cefixime is a cephalosporin and cephalosporins work by using their beta-lactam rings to inhibit bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to the penicillin-binding proteins transpeptidases on bacteria. The inhibition of synthesis of the bacteria cell wall will cause lysis, particularly in fast growing organisms. It is highly active against Enterobacteriaceae, H. influenzae, Strep. pyogenes, and is resistant to many β-lactamases. It is longer acting. It has been used for respiratory, urinary, peri-dental, typhiod and biliary infections.
- Lactic acid Bacillus is used here to ensure there is no antibiotic associated diarrhoea. It relieves digestive problems- GI Issues, ulcers, constipation, indigestion. It ensures there is a healthy balance of microflora in the in the gut environment.
